Ooh, they have the internet on computers now!

I'll have to look for that emulator. Awhile ago I found one for NES and
played the original Zelda obsessively for about a week.

On the other hand, as much trouble as I have with just mashing buttons
on a controller, I imagine trying to play with a keyboard will be even
more frustrating.

That's a regular Fatality, isn't it? I could do a bunch of those,
although admittedly I usually needed to use the cheat code that gave you
a lot more time to do it.

The Brutalities were really long combos where you just punched and
kicked the fuck out of the opponent at hyperspeed until they exploded.

Have I mentioned that I hate computers? I open the group,
headers download, I click the previous post, it downloads, I
flag it (to remind me to reply) then click "Next Unread"...
....and get "Cannot find server".

'Zelda kicks ass.

I use Project 64. It crashes a lot for me in Windowed Mode,
but never crashes in Fullscreen Mode.

Yeah, it sucks. I use an Adaptoid to connect my Nintendo 64
controller to one of the front USB ports. (The GameCube
controller sucks.)

Speaking of button mashing: "WWE Day Of Reckoning 2" is the
worst wrestling game I ever played. The controls were
obviously developed by an ass-pounder because that is what
you do to your controller for the majority of the match;
pound its "A" "butt"on. Even something as simple as getting
up from a punch requires mashing. The programmers should
not have assumed that we have "strong forearms" just because
we are wrestling "geeks".

I see. I did not play Mortal Kombat much. This year I
confused it with Killer Instinct and had to be Chyna for two
weeks for that mistake.
