America's Most Wanted could have beaten The Latin American
Xchange for what they did to Gail Kim, but she wanted to
fight with men, so there should be a three-on-three match
some time. I would like to see her take a Vertebreaker (or
whatever it is called in TNA).

| fun, with Christy Hemme tagging along, playing Lois Lane.......

Christy is the WORST part of TNA. She is so bad that I will
change the channel when she appears just for her five
seconds to announce the upcoming matches. I usually forget
that I was watching Impact and miss the rest of the show.
TNA probably feels extremely stupid for hiring her. Now
they -must- do something with her to avoid -looking- stupid.

They already had a red-haired woman -- and one that was
actually good-looking -- who could have done Christy's
part. She could not have been any worse.



| 1. Samoa Joe def. Jay Lethal. Not quite a total squash.

Really? According to the announcers, Samoa Joe's undefeated
streak is going to be at stake AT GENESIS versus Kurt Angle.

Thanks, TNA, for telling us that Jay Lethal has no chance.

| Joe's back to being a heel, and I blame Vince Russo for
| this. The fans want to cheer Joe, but to prevent a 50/50
| split in fan reaction in his match against Kurt Angle at
| Genesis, he's becoming more vicious than ever.

Why do they think that is a bad thing? The crowd alternately
chanting for Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles during their
great matches made them even better.



| 2. The Naturals def. Team 3D in a table match. Absurdity
| of the night came when Mike Tenay claimed that Team 3D
| hadn't ever lost a table match. As the Dudleyz, they did
| lose a few in WWE, but Tenay figures the audience knows
| Team 3D's history and will take his word as gospel.

In "WWE Day Of Reckoning 2", The Dudleys are not in the game
and their moves are renamed "Deadly". By the way, the game
sucks ass; don't bother with it.

| but then Frankie Kazarian, Matt Bentley, and Johnny Devine
| are out, dressed rather bizarrely.

| Devine has just joined up with the other two after losing
| a 3-way last week. I believe it's Kazarian who's acting as
| the spokesman for what will be known as the Movement.

The gay rights movement.



| The Voodoo Kin Mafia, formerly the James Gang, clears out
| the ring and cuts a promo of their own. BG does most of
| the talking, referring to HHH & HBK by their real names
| and declaring war on Crazy Vinnie & DX. 1998 called, guys.
| Take a hike and tell yer story walkin'! They took too long
| to get to the point, but then, that's ironic, because
| that's been HHH's biggest problem in cutting promos.

This was lame. It makes them look desperate. TNA should
just do its own thing. They were good when they were doing
their own thing. Now, they are trying to match stupidity
with WWE.



| 3. Christian Cage def. Rhino. 6 sides of steel, with
| barbed wire across the top. "Prison Break" fans could
| appreciate this, 'cause it felt like someone was going to
| start a jailbreak. Anyway, these two went back & forth,
| and it was Rhino's own aggressive offense that cost him
| the match, as he gored Cage straight out the door to
| victory. Good stuff.

It was OK. Christian got a lot of offense for someone who
looks like he can be broken in half by Rhino.



| 4. X Division title: Christopher Daniels def. Chris Sabin
| & AJ Styles to win the title. Best match on the show. Fast
| paced, but it ended rather abruptly.
| Styles loses the title without jobbing

As in WWE, another great tag team is splitting. Although,
as with Angle and Benoit, I would rather see Daniels and
Styles feud than team.



| Back to LAX for a moment. They're at a park somewhere in
| Orlando. You can hear Christy off-camera pleading with
| Konnan to stop, but he won't listen.

GodDAMN, she is annoying. There could have been a poodle
barking at them and it would have been less annoying.

Yes, but have there ever been Multiple German Suplexes in TNA?
I am accustomed to -- and like -- their cruiserweight style,
but it was great to see that move.

| commercial with a wheelbarrow full of thumbtacks. He
| emptied the wheelbarrow, but the tacks never came into play.

When he appeared, Sting dropped Abyss on them.



| Post-match, Joe returned and the fight was on. Angle hit a
| belly-to-belly suplex. It went to the floor, where Joe
| waffled Kurt with a chair. Abyss recovered and they
| doubled on Angle

Abyss was stomping Angle with his injured foot.


At the moment, I do not care about any of the championships;
the Joe/Angle, possible Daniels/Styles, and Rhino/Christian
feuds are good.

It's called a Gringo Killa, or Cop Killa when Homicide uses it in Ring
of Honor. At Genesis, LAX beat AMW, but Jim Cornette turned around and
stripped LAX of the titles for threatening to burn the flag. Russo is
already killing TNA with stupid writing.

Reportedly, Christy is training with Donuts D'Amore in her spare time
to prep for her TNA in-ring debut, but what good is that if there's not
enough women to work with?

True dat. At Genesis, Angle ended Joe's winning streak by getting him
to tap to the anklelock. Thanks, Russo, for ruining what could've been
the feud of 2007!!!

Consider that Vince Russo is the head writer, and has single-handedly
reversed TNA's course.

I don't think it was done before that match. Angle, remember, cribbed
the rolling Germans from Chris Benoit.

And unfortunately, save for the resumption of Styles-Daniels, with
Styles turning heel based on what I read of Genesis, the feuds have
been ruined.

NWA champ: Abyss
NWA tag team champs: vacant pending Impact
X division champ: Daniels.

Someone has to check Russo's scripts for clarity and common sense!!!

on me. I thought Homicide killed AJ Styles.

Stripped...not for the thugging...but for burning their own

I am surprised it was never referred to as "The Three 'I's".
I thought they would not call it that, but name each "I" as

I was always a Mortal Kombat man; never got into the SF series.
Unfortunately the most recent MK game I've played is MK Trilogy, and
it's been a long time since my brother let me borrow the N64 to do that.
