STEP 1: Smoothen eyebrows by brushing them, using upward strokes and a firm-bristled brow brush. Next, using soft strokes, sketch in sparse places with a sharpened pencil liner.


STEP 2: Using your fingers, use an ecru-beige cream eye shadow across your entire lid, and then pat on a bit under the arch of the brow.


STEP 3: Use a rounded, soft shadow brush, apply a smoky heather shadow across and into the eyelids’ crease. Diffuse by blending back and forth, until you have a soft wash of colour. STEP 4: Using the same smoky heather tone you used at the crease, make a soft line across the lower lash line.


STEP 5: Draw a thin line across the entire upper lash line. Stay as close to the lash line as possible. You may want to layer on two or even three very fine lines.


STEP 6: Curl the upper lashes, then, and use a deep brown volumising mascara to brush through the upper lashes.


STEP 7: Brush through the lower lashes with lengthening mascara for that long, feathery look.

STEP 8: Apply a facial lotion, paying special attention to areas under the eyes and around the lips.


STEP 9: Apply a sheer liquid foundation with your fingertips, especially at the sides of the nose and chin, then blend out in light, even strokes.


STEP 10: Using your fingertips, apply a sheer coral-pink cheek tint to the apples of the cheeks, blending upward toward the cheekbones in circular motions.


STEP 11: Set the foundation and cheek colour, using a full-headed powder brush and translucent matte blotting powder.


STEP 12: Apply a coral-rose stain to the lips. Blot with a tissue and apply another layer.
